Book Writing Workshops in August at Library

Ever thought about writing your own book?  How about the added benefit of publishing it for free?  If this sounds interesting to you, then attend the free book writing workshops at the Ohio County Public Libarary on August 13, 20 and 27.  The courses are from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm each Saturday.

Local published author Ed Griffiths will conduct the workshops.  The only requirement is you must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Word.  Please bring a laptop if you have one.  If you don’t, the library has some available to borrow.

You’ll learn tips on writing, cover design, interior discussion, proofing, sale channels, marketing and how to publish your book on Amazon for free!  Who knows?  Maybe you’ll be the next Ernest Hemmingway, Stephen King or J.K. Rowling!

Contact Amy at the library for more information at 812-438-2257.
