The Ohio County Convention, Tourism and Visitors Commission (Ohio County Tourism) will host a Hot Summer Night on Saturday, August 17 in downtown Rising Sun. This free, public event will be held rain or shine from 4-9:30 p.m. according to this edited release provided by the agency.

Located on Main and Poplar Streets, the event will include a deejay, vendors and a Kid Zone with inflatables. The Belairs will perform their Las Vegas style musical show at 7 p.m.  The show features 50’s and 60’s music complete with costume changes, eye-catching choreography, multi-part harmony, skits with audience participation and dynamic feature performances.  The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and dancing shoes.

Information, arts and crafts vendor space are available free of charge. Each 10’ X 15’ area is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors must be pre-approved to avoid duplication of products and merchandise. Electric and water are not available.
