RISING SUN-OHIO COUNTY JOINT PARK BOARD

Four (4) Year Term

The Board shall consist of nine (9) citizen members with four (4) members appointed by the Mayor for the City of Rising Sun and five (5) members appointed by the Board of Commissioners of Ohio County (I.C. 36-10-3-5).

As a term expires, each new appointment is for a four- (4) year term. All terms expire on the first Monday in January, but a member continues in office until his or her successor is appointed (I.C. 36-10-3-5).
